I deeply enjoyed the book!! I am in the seventh grade and doing a Book Critique on this book, and also a Author Research Paper on David Carlton. I have never read a book that has changed my emotions so many times! There were parts when I was rolling on the floor laughing and times when I was just about crying. Keep Writing books!!!! I’m 15 years old and I just started to read "Dallas Doc". My grandmother gave it to me not to long ago, and she gave it to me with your signature in it. I just wanted to say thank you, you have helped me realize what I might have to do to become a vet. I have wanted to be a vet since I have no idea how long I just love to help animals from big cuts to the littlest sticker. So thank you again!

I read the entire book to my husband--we laughed; we cried; we couldn't stop! We saw so much of ourselves in the stories as we have both lived and worked on ranches, love animals and have had pets just like those in the book! We loved the heart that you have for your patients--your God-given talent as a vet has been tested by fire--and you passed with flying colors! We anxiously await the next book in your series! I bought both books at the Las Vegas Cowboy Christmas, and Doc Carlton was kind enough to send them to me here in Auburn, Washington.  Each day, when I come in from my work on a Thoroughbred breeding farm, I read one story while I relax.  The stories are wonderful, real and help me put my day's events in perspective.  I swear I have known someone like each of the characters in the books.  I'm nearing the end of the second book, and looking forward to the next in the series.  Hurry
